Hello Friends of the Elville Center for the Creative Arts,
As we look towards the holiday season and close out the year, I invite you to join us in giving the gift of music — a gift that can change a student’s life forever.
The Elville Center improves the lives of children across Maryland by giving them access to music education, lessons, and refurbished instruments they might not otherwise have. We partner with school music programs to ensure every child who wants to make music can do just that.
Do you know of a school music program that could use support? If so, please contact us!
There are a few simple ways you can make a difference this season:
One, we invite you to join us for the Primavera Flute Quartet in Recital on Sunday, November 30th. All proceeds from this event will benefit the Elville Center. As they are moving on to college, this is the last recital together for this group of fine Ellicott City student musicians!
Two, you can donate a quality musical instrument that’s no longer being used — we’ll refurbish it and place it into the hands of a student musician eager to learn.
And three, you can make a financial gift to support lessons, field trips, and instrument refurbishments, You can give by check, online, or through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA — it’s a tax-smart way to give while meeting your required minimum distribution.
Your generosity helps students discover creativity, confidence, and connection through music. Please visit elvillecenter.org/donate to make your gift today. In this season of giving, thank you for believing in the power of music, and from all of us at the Elville Center — we are grateful for your support. Happy holidays!
